Northern Olive Oil and IPB: Science and Knowledge for Olive Tourism

The Azeite a Norte Association signed a collaboration protocol with the IPB - Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and EsCAT - College of Communication, Administration and Tourism, as scientific and technical partners for the Azeite a Norte project.

This is a significant step for the project, which previously had the opportunity to present its project at IPB-EsACT as part of its Master's in Tourism program.

Contact with the academic world and the need for technical and scientific support in the approaches and activities developed were identified needs, and this agreement ensures a suitable and specialized partner.

This partnership will be able to focus on the various areas of scientific and academic expertise of the IPB, which is why it was highly desired and well-received within the Azeite a Norte project.

It was also one of the first official acts of the Azeite a Norte Association.

To kick off this partnership, this month a student will begin an internship as part of the Master's in Tourism program, focusing on some of the actions and projects under development within our project.
