Olive Oil Traceability, a project...

Azeite a Norte and DataColab have joined forces to develop Olive Oil Traceability.

DataColab is developing the platform and applications necessary for a tool that will enhance the reputation of olive oil from Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, confirming its origin and the producers who present the entire journey of the olive.

Traceability is defined as: "The possibility of identifying the origin of a product and reconstructing its path from production to distribution"(1)
