Mirandela hosts new TENAZ festival dedicated to local gastronomy

Mirandela is preparing to host, on August 29th and 30th, the innovative gastronomic festival TENAZ – Mirandela at Your Fingertips, which promises to transform the emblematic goat, lamb, and the famous Alheira de Mirandela into true finger food experiences.

The event will be held at Estação das Artes and will feature eight guest chefs who will reinterpret the region's indigenous products and present them in small, creative snacks, ideal for enjoying with your hands. The initiative combines traditional flavors with culinary creativity, also providing cultural entertainment and moments of sharing between producers, chefs, and visitors.

Over the two days, the public will have the opportunity to taste new versions of these iconic products, explore local producers' stalls, and watch live cooking demonstrations. The TENAZ festival represents another commitment by Mirandela to highlight its authentic and excellent products, promoting the region as a leading destination for national gastronomy.

The event also extends to local restaurants, which will offer special finger food menus inspired by regional products during the festival, promising a true flavor journey through Trás-os-Montes and creating a festive atmosphere throughout the city.
