A new two-day olive tourism itinerary!

This is an invitation to explore the region for at least two days.

This itinerary focuses on two municipalities within the region: Macedo de Cavaleiros and Vila Flor.

An invitation to discover a UNESCO protected area and an olive oil producer, with a space to taste organic olive oil and stroll through vast olive groves.

Over two days, and with the guidance of two of our partners, you can take this route and learn a little more about the Terras de Cavaleiros GeoPark.

A visit that, according to SunAzibo: "..."...visits geosites, sites of geological interest within the Terras de Cavaleiros Geopark, accompanied by a geologist guide who will take you on a journey through millions of years of Earth's history. You can learn to make homemade bread with local people and enjoy a delicious Trás-os-Montes lunch in a traditional restaurant, or a pleasant picnic in the wonderful landscapes of the Sabor River.

Afterwards, you'll board at the Azibo Reservoir Pier and begin an unforgettable experience, one of perfect communion with nature, a visit to the wildest and most natural side of this reservoir aboard our eco-friendly, solar-powered vessel.

It'll be a busy day with a lot to see.

Our second partner, Acushla, an organic olive oil producer in Vila Flor, will offer a tour of the vast olive grove, tasting their oils, and learning more about the entire process.

In both cases, you must contact us and book in advance, as activities are prepared in advance and "customized."

You can enjoy this itinerary year-round, but we prefer spring or fall.

Both are magical times for these activities and quieter in the region, only bustling with the hustle and bustle of the harvest.
