How to get around?

You can get to the city of Macedo de Cavaleiros by car or bus.


Buses depart several times a day from Porto, particularly from the Campanhã terminal, providing a permanent connection to the Porto Metro and trains.


Where you're in the region depends on the locations you choose.


To visit the village of Podence, you'll need to travel by car or another form of transportation.

The same applies to the Royal Filatório de Chacim.

You'll also need transportation to get to the Azibo Reservoir.

Outside of peak season, there's no other way to get there.
