Miranda do Douro
A 6.5 km circular trail of easy difficulty, starting and finishing at Largo da Igreja in Picote, estimated at approximately 2 hours. The trail explores the surrounding Mirandese plateau and ancient farming paths crossing the granite cliffs towards the village of Eiras. The characteristic plateau landscape — cereal fields, olive groves and holm oaks — combines with the cultural heritage of Terra de Miranda and the Mirandese language (co-official in Portugal).
