A 7.5 km circular trail of moderate difficulty, starting and finishing at Largo da Igreja in Picote. The trail includes local variants linked to the Castro da Cigadonha — an Iron Age hillfort with a privileged view over the Douro valley — and the Fraga Amarela viewpoint, offering passage through the Barrocal landscape and unique views over the International Douro river valley. Promoted by FRAUGA — Association for the Integrated Development of Picote. Picote is a village on the Mirandese plateau with a singular cultural identity, including the Mirandese language (co-official in Portugal). Registered in the RNPP by the FCMP.
