A 4.4 km linear trail of easy difficulty linking the village of Podence — birthplace of the Caretos, iconic figures of the Entrudo Chocalheiro classified as Portugal's Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2017 — to Praia da Ribeira at the Azibo Reservoir, one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal's Beaches. The trail starts at the information panel near the Casa do Careto, passes the Church of Nossa Senhora da Purificação and crosses the Albufeira do Azibo Protected Landscape, within the Morais Site of Community Importance (Natura 2000 Network), Iberian wolf habitat.
