Carrazeda de Ansiães
A 12 km circular trail of moderate difficulty, estimated at 4 hours, starting and finishing at the information panel in the village of Pombal, near the Church of S. Lourenço de Pombal. The trail heads towards the Calçada de S. Lourenço viewpoint, following the entire historic Calçada path to the village of São Lourenço — known for its medicinal hot springs. A side trail leads to the former São Lourenço station, now a pier used by boats linking the Foz Tua dam to the village of Brunheda. The route continues to the Barrabáz viewpoint, with the option of a detour near the River Tua, where the Santa Luzia station once stood. The trail crosses the São Lourenço Micro-reserve, where forests and rocky outcrops provide habitat for a great variety of species. Part of the PNRVT Walking Trails Network.
