A 9 km circular trail of difficult grade, estimated at 3 hours, starting and finishing at the village square of Gouveia, near an old granite wayside cross with a circular base, cubic capital and simple Latin cross. Located in the heart of Serra da Gouveia, the trail climbs to the Gouveia geodetic marker (653 metres) with a unique and majestic view. At the summit, remains of a fortified settlement with unusual construction technique can be found. The route passes through Sendim da Serra (former primary school converted into rural accommodation) and the rural hamlet of Cabreira, where the Fonte da Saúde can be visited.
