A 3.5 km linear trail of easy difficulty, estimated at 50 minutes, crossing the confluence of the rivers Tua and Douro within the Alto Douro Wine Region (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the PNRVT. The trail starts at the PNRVT Gateway and follows the Foz-Tua walkways, with spectacular views over the Douro riverbanks. Along the route, historic landmarks include the former Tua Railway Line and the Casa dos Cantoneiros 'Foz-Tua Wine House' — a former maintenance house converted into a wine and regional produce tasting venue. The Foz-Tua Dam viewpoint offers impressive views of the Edgar Cardoso Bridge and the Ponte das Presas. Difficulty graded using the MIDE method. Part of the PNRVT Walking Trails Network.
