Trilho das Quedas d'Alto

A 13.2 km circular trail of moderate difficulty, estimated at 5 hours, starting and finishing at the Associação Cultural Recreativa de Linhares. The trail reveals some of the finest natural and historic landscapes of Linhares. It heads towards the Quedas d'Alto viewpoint, crossing the PR4 'Trilho da Fraga das Ferraduras'. A side trail descends to the Ribeira de Linhares and the Quedas d'Alto — a waterfall several metres high. After crossing the bridge and walkways, the trail continues to the Watermills viewpoint, with four historic watermills. The Solar dos Sampaios in Linhares is a notable example of civil architecture.
