A circular trail starting and finishing at the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Boa Morte (or do Pópulo), at the Castro do Pópulo (also known as Castro da Touca Rota or Castelo de São Marcos), in Alijó. The trail offers a side path to Santa Ana/Santo Ovídio in Ribalonga, and another to Alto do Pópulo, where it connects with the PR7 ALJ — Trilho do Alto do Pópulo / Perafita. The Castro do Pópulo is an archaeological site with remains dating from Prehistory. The route crosses the Alto Douro Wine Region landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
