A 9.6 km circular trail of moderate difficulty, starting and finishing in Linhares, Carrazeda de Ansiães. The trail leads to the Fraga das Ferraduras, a rock formation bearing horseshoe marks which, according to local tradition, were left by the horse of St James the Apostle. The route crosses the wine-growing and olive-growing landscape of the Upper Douro, with privileged views over the River Douro and the Alto Douro Wine Region.
