Along the Banks of the Angueira River

Vimioso
A 22.1 km circular trail of difficult grade, starting from the Parque Ibérico de Natureza e Aventura (PINTA) in Vimioso. It follows the banks of the River Angueira, between the villages of São Joanico, Serapicos and Angueira. The route passes a medieval bridge, watermills and stone slab crossings, accompanied by riparian galleries and woodlands of oaks and strawberry trees. Kingfishers, roe deer and characteristic riverside flora may be spotted. FCMP certified. Source: CM Vimioso / WalkingPortugal.
