Na Rota dos Cervídeos — Guadramil
PP7 BGC
Bragança
A 9.4 km circular trail of easy difficulty, starting and finishing in the village square of Guadramil, in Montesinho Natural Park. Guadramil is a communal Trás-os-Montes village in the Rio de Onor parish, deep within Montesinho Natural Park, which preserves its traditional houses and a nearly extinct dialect of Leonese origin. The trail follows the long valley where different land uses can be observed: farming, pasture and woodlands of oak and chestnut. Recommended season: autumn, especially October, when deer are in the rut — the best time for spotting cervids. Mushrooms can also be found along the route. Points of interest: parish church, wine press, communal ovens and forge of Guadramil. Source: Wikiloc / walkingportugal.com / Montesinho Natural Park.
