From the River Beach to Lilela

A 15.3 km linear trail of easy difficulty, estimated at 4 to 5 hours, forming part of the Ecovia do Rabaçal. The trail starts at the Rabaçal river beach and ends in Lilela. Key points of interest include the Ponte do Arquinho (km 1.7) — a Roman bridge from the 1st century AD —, the Rio Calvo crossing (km 3.9), the village of Cachão (km 6.3), the Miradezes river beach (km 10.3) and the Foz do Rio Torto (km 11.2). Along the route, ancient traces of agricultural and technological practices can be found, including watermills and rock-hewn olive presses.
