Description and Content
Bragança's urban cycling network is the most complete in the ANá region, with 22 km of cycle paths including the Fervença Cycle Path (along the river) and the Mãe D'Água Ecotrail. The network was designed with intelligent solutions, including smart walkways and adaptive lighting.
The Xispas electric bike sharing system provides 20 e-bikes at stations distributed throughout the city, allowing you to explore the Historic Center, the medieval Citadel (castle and Domus Municipalis), the Cantarias area, and the Montesinho Natural Park effortlessly on uphill climbs.
The connection with the Tua Ecotrail (37 km) allows you to extend your ride outside the city, towards Macedo de Cavaleiros and Mirandela.
Recommended season:
All year round. Winter can bring snow.
