Vila Flor is home to Quinta Acushla — a pilot partner in the Azeite a Norte project and producer of the first olive oil with a Digital Product Passport (DPP) in Portugal, developed in partnership with Data CoLAB. The municipality also houses the Olive Oil Factory, a museum space dedicated to olive growing.

The municipality is part of the Dark Sky Vale do Tua certification (Starlight Tourist Destination), offering exceptional conditions for stargazing.

Recommended season:

All year round.

Does it pass through an olive grove?

Olive tourism notes:

Vila Flor is the epicenter of olive tourism in the ANa project: Quinta Acushla, Olive Oil Factory, the first Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) for olive oil in Portugal.
