Congida river beach

The beach is part of a leisure complex that includes a floating pool in the waters of the reservoir, municipal pools and various support facilities. There is also a river pier from where boat trips depart that go up the Douro, an opportunity to observe the diversity of vegetation around, sought after by several species of birds that nest on the slopes next to the river.
