Valpaços

Located in an area where Celts and Romans left their marks, the Valpaços region, located in Trás-os-Montes, is a plateau area, crossed by an intense hydrographic network. The climate is characterized by very harsh winters and very hot, dry summers.
It was a very populated region since prehistoric times, as demonstrated by the many megalithic remains.
