About the event
The Wines & Flavors of the Altos Fair returns to Alijó from June 19th to 21st, 2026 to celebrate high-altitude wines, Douro gastronomy, and the authenticity of the Douro Transmontano region. For three days, the Village Park transforms into a space for tasting, regional flavors, live music, and wine experiences, bringing together producers, visitors, and wine lovers in one of the region's most anticipated events.
The 2026 edition features new experiences such as the Wine Bar Experience, dedicated to wine cocktails and premium tastings, and the Buyers Lounge, designed to connect national and international producers and buyers. Throughout the event, visitors can sample Douro wines produced on the high slopes of Alijó, renowned for their freshness, elegance, and mineral profile, as well as typical products such as olive oil, honey, traditional bread, sausages, and meat pies.
