About the event
The Association for the Study and Protection of Donkey Livestock (AEPGA), Palombar - Nature Conservation and Rural Heritage, and the Donkey Reception Center (CAB), in partnership with the Parish of Miranda do Douro and with the support of the Northern Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR-N), through the Norte Pontual Program, are promoting the 2nd edition of the Nature and Landscape Interpretive Walk. The event celebrates the value of the ancient trees of Trás-os-Montes, recognizing them as living testimonies of the region's history, biodiversity, and cultural identity. Furthermore, it promotes Trás-os-Montes culture through the appreciation of the Mirandese language, landscape interpretation, and visits to some points of interest of the Natura 2000 Passport, located in Miranda do Douro, near the villages of Cércio and Póvoa. The event will take place on October 24th and 25th.
