Hiking trails in Tua Park

With guided hikes you can discover the natural landscape of Trás-os-Montes, Romanesque bridges, geosites, authentic villages, traditions, peek between the mountains, and finish with the flavors of Trás-os-Montes. Our guides are knowledgeable about the trails of the Protected Landscape of the Azibo Reservoir, Caretos de Podence, Douro, Sabor Lakes, Tua Park, Douro Internacional, or the Montesinho Natural Park.

In the Tua Valley Natural Park you can take several hikes; we suggest the following: Fragas Más and Ujo Trail, Olhos do Tua Trail, or São Lourenço Trail.

All pass by one of the magnificent viewpoints located in the park, traversing the local micro-reserve, where forests and rocky outcrops are the habitat of a huge variety of plant and animal species.

The trails always lead close to the river where you can admire the valley and the groves of the famous orange trees, interspersed with pine, cork oak, and olive trees.
