Hiking in the Douro Wine Region

Right in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region and the Alto Douro Wine Region, a wine-growing landscape classified by UNESCO as a living evolving cultural landscape, the route begins next to the Pinhão Railway Station, built in the 19th century and considered one of the most beautiful stations in the country.

Walking through the streets of the village, the route heads north to the village of Casal de Loivos, where there is a detour to its viewpoint, allowing you to appreciate what was considered by an English newspaper to be the third most beautiful landscape in the world.
